Found the charity
- 1Go to Charity from the top menu and enter the charity's name, website and a line about the cause.
- 2That makes the charity's space. Its public page lives at /charity/<name>, and every tournament you publish appears on it.
- 3You land in the planner with Charity Tournament already chosen: name it, set the date and venue, and create it.
Set up the appeal
On the Raised tab, say what the money is for, who receives it, and a target if you have one. Add the ways to give — a handle, a number, or where to send a cheque — and confirm you are authorised to collect for the cause. Donors see the ways to give only after that confirmation.
Divisions, players and entries
- 1Add a Chapter for each division (Men's doubles, Mixed, Under-16s) from the Details tab.
- 2Import a club's entry list on the Guests tab: paste or upload names, emails, divisions and partners. Players go in as guests filed under their division. Nothing is sent until you invite them.
- 3Turn on public sign-up on the Guests tab to let strangers register themselves at /register/<id>, behind a bot challenge. Everyone who signs up becomes a guest.
Run the tournament
On the Tournaments tab, enter competitors into each division, build the draw, add courts and assign matches to them, then record results as they come in. The Overview shows six readiness checks — page published, registration open, a way to give, every division with entries, draws built, courts assigned — each linking to the tab that fixes it.
Money and the day
Costs holds what the tournament spends; Raised holds every donation as pledged, reported or confirmed, and only confirmed money is the headline. Day is the run of show on the morning, and Volunteers is who is on the desk and who is short.
