Create the community
- 1Go to Community from the top menu and choose New community. Name it, say what it is for and where it is.
- 2You land in the space. Its tabs are Gatherings, Members, Groups, Board and New gathering.
- 3On Members, paste people in as Name <email>, one per line, or share the join link. Anyone with the link joins as a viewer once they sign in.
- 4Give signed-in members a role — administrator, organizer, communications or viewer — from the Members page. Free communities start with up to 50 signed-in members.
Households and groups
Put a family in a household from the Members page, so they appear together and can be invited as one. Make groups — teams, committees, age groups — on the Groups page and tick who belongs to each; a gathering can be aimed at a group later.
The board
Anyone with the communications role (or an administrator) posts updates and polls to the Board. A swim or dive club also gets a meet-results import there: paste a league CSV and every member sees their own trend.
Gatherings
New gathering opens the ordinary Moment planner with the community's kinds — a neighbourhood get-together, a school event, a club night, a sports season, a team banquet, a volunteer day. Every gathering is a Moment with invitations, guests, a checklist and a budget, and belongs to the community's space.
